Window to history

First breeder club for setters and pointers in our country was originated in 1936 and managed entire territory of former Czechoslovakia. Czechoslovakia consisted of the Czech and Slovakia, Czech is historically divided into parts of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. In this form surviver WW2 and communist government.
Due to political changes in the early 90ties of 20th century, the club split into three separated clubs, according to the historical division of territory.

4/29/1990 originated:

  • Moravian - Silesian club for setters and pointers (czech shortcut: MSKAO)
  • Bohemia pointer and setter club (czech shortcut: ČPSK)
  • Slovak club for pointers and setters (slovak shortcut: SKPS)



Present

The club is dedicated to breeding setters and pointers in the Czech republic.
In process, when dog or bitch becames a stud dog or brood bitch, is the emphasis is on hunting innate qualities, perfect exterior and especially health.

The club organizes many cynological events - traditional club show in beautiful garden of the chateau Slavkov-Austerlitz, national and international field trial, hunting tests of different categories for dog usability in hunting in Czech republic.
